okay, not very many people know me and I feel compelled by God to share my testimony, I don't know why, maybe it will help someone, maybe just so people know who I am, only time will tell. Before I do that, My name is Adam Hinz. So, here goes...(may be kind of long, doin my whole life)
I was born to a father who worked in a factory with my mother, that is how they met. I was the lucky child out of the family, my mom didn't do drugs or drink while she was pregnant with me. Although, she did with my younger brother. Anyways, I ended up living with my father after they got divorced. My mom, one day, decided she "wanted to see me" but then when my dad got home that day nothing was there but sum clothes, a folding chair, and a black and white TV. I was gone, as well as everything else. It took my father 6 months to get me back, at that time we were living in a town called Fairmont. When I was 4, my father, my brother, and I moved in with my grandmother on a farm and I started going to daycare at 6. My daycare lady was a Christian and at that time attended a small Baptist church. Now, my dad was Lutheran, but my whole life he has given me the freedom to choose what i want to do with my religious beliefs, which is very nice of him. Anyways, back on subject, I started going to the kids' program there on Wednesday nights and got saved at the age of 7.
When I was 9, i stopped going to the daycare, and stopped going to that church, i can't remember why, but i did. I fell into the world, listen to worldly music, and did a bunch of wrong things.
When I was 11 I went up north to visit my mom for the summer and she was a Jehovah's Witness, I did not know this when I went up though. Of course, I was vulnerable, not a strong christian or anything, so she pulled me in, I came back down to my dad and stepmom's yelling at them and telling them they would go to hell because my stepmom could speak in tongues and they had crosses up and blah, blah, blah.
When I was 12 1/2 years old I got invited to the summer camp of the baptist church I went to years ago, so I went, what the heck, get away from my parents for a week! Anyways, while I was up there I went through some dramatic changes and recommited my life to the Lord, in the same week I figured out my calling was Evangelism. I didn't know why yet, i just knew.
At the age of 14 I went to a Benny Hinn Crusade in Minneapolis, which the Baptist church was totally against. I went with the church one of my sister's nurses go to. (My sister has Muscular Dystrophy and must have nursing 24/7). Anyways, after that, I realized that the conservative life wasn't for me, I went Pentecostal, I like it a lot better, it is a lot less strict and stuff like that.
Today I am a 15 year old teenager who attends an Assembly of God church. I have finally figured out why I have been called to Evangelism. I am good at public speaking and I believe God put me through the things he has to prepare me for it. Right know I am working at a Wendy's and have set a goal to raise $2,000 for Speed the Light, a part of the AG Council geared toward teens to raise money for foreign missionaries, by September-October. (Sorry I just thought I'd post it, not trying to advertise for donations although they would be great, hope I'm not breaking any rules...If so, PM me, don't delete this message)
Thank you for your time and patience,
Your Brother In Christ,
