Greetings you in Christ’s precious name!! I am Pastor Tun Lin serving at Hope Christian Church in Yangon, Myanmar. I will like to share with you the Myanmar updates and our Church’s ministry.
Currently, the people of Myanmar are facing incredible hardship, violence, and uncertainty after a military coup took place on February 1, 2021. Dozens of people have been internally displaced across the country and hundreds of civilians have been brutally killed, tortured, jailed and the nation is once again on the brink of war. Please join us in praying for peace, restoration of democracy, protection of lives, and an end to violence.
The people of Myanmar have been terrible experiencing the third wave of COVID-19. Hundreds of dead bodies are being crematoriums every day at four major cemeteries in Yangon. The huge surge in infections and a shortage of oxygen to treat patients have sent the daily death toll climbing so quickly they are struggling to keep up with funeral arrangements, and crematoriums are in the nonstop operation said, several charity groups. It is a double blow to people in Myanmar. It is so sad.
I would like to request you, members of your church, organization, whether as individuals or groups, can partner with Hope Christian Church. Your partnership with Hope Christian Church can reach unreached and help end extreme poverty in Myanmar. We can together change the lives of a community through your partnership with Hope Christian Church. Your church/ organization can sponsor a specific project and transform an entire community's physical and spiritual needs. Please pray.
