Its obviously nothing to do with GOD, nor to glorify GOD in any way. Sure its nice to meet with friends, but you can do the same through a better environment and other better methods (email, IM) which have been around since day one.

I wouldn't want my kids (I don't have any, but if I did that is) to browse a site like that and risk them seeing nasty content that they should not see. Not worth it at all.

I agree. I only help my friend update hers because she dont know how to run. I keep tellin' her to get a better sit but of course she refuses.

Hey! I browsed thru Myspace before and it has potential to be a good site, but there is way too much language and half-naked pics of people on it. But I guess it's like that because it's not Christian, it's worldly. I read a scripture that said that all that is in the world is not of the Father but of the world. So God must not be in Myspace.
But I should pray for the people and owners of Myspace, maybe they can become born-again and turn it into a Christian fellowship site.
With God all things are possible

I was for a time in myspace, a month.... and believe me so fast that I bookin I booked out Not realy a place for Children of God . Its like nikki said that the language and photos their is not for Christians. Although I know some people their, that are Christians, and really try to live out their belief and let their light shine....

My sons pastor down in Florida disscused this place while I was down on a trip last week. He said it has people on there that are child preditors and some have been caught . So I for one would not recomend young teens to go on there and become to freindly with anyone. After all its nice to make freinds but you realy don't know who your makeing friends with. None of my older grandchildren are allowed on the site. It's best to come to a place like this with a teen section and make good friends and talk about the Lord.

Be on the lookout. Talk Jesus will expand to greater heights and welcome those are not only unsaved (most important goal for TJ) but those are already saved and looking for a *safe n' sound* place to enoy, family friendly the same.

Maybe Christians should join this site and Glorify the Lord by talking about Jesus in their profiles and things like that. Maybe then it would touch someone that did not have Jesus in their life that was a member on that site.

My Christian friends and I all use myspace. Yes, there are some things that are sinful on myspace, but it is also a useful to share the Gospel. I recently wrote a bullentin offering free prayer, and it had moderate success.

I'm also on myspace. I have a myspace primarily to keep in touch with cousins and friends who live far away and have one. My site shows I'm not ashamed of Jesus. My cousins and friends may not be as bold or may not even be Christian (mainly my family, because I don't really have non-christian friends), but I'm praying and hoping that by my site, they will start to open up to God.
Some people use that website for some really bad things, but when you are a child of God, being on a website like that isn't necessarily bad, it's what you do with it. I hope to reach out to my unsaved family and friends. Maybe they will see that being a Christian is just as fun.

I am grateful to God that our filter (B-Safe Online) filters out MySpace. I saw on the history that my daughter tried to go there once. As far as I'm concerned, it's no place I'd want to visit, or my family to visit. It's like walking into a tavern and then acting surprised that there is sin there. It's like buying an R- rated dvd and putting it in to watch it, and saying, "Oh! My! Look at that!"

However! I would like to add that someone like tgs4584 has a good impact on other members at MySpace. If the Lord puts you there to minister, He is trusting your maturity in Christ.

It's not everybody's ministry though. And if a user knows for sure God doesn't want them in MySpace, and they keep going anyway....that's disobedience.

I personally don't like it. I have had some serious issues with some of the group that I was invited to. A couple of kinds from my high school were suspended becuase of things they did on myspace. I suggest you stay far away!

I used to have a MySpace page....well, I guess I still do (I haven't been to it in ages). And while I did meet a few Christians there, for the most part Christians and our faith are attacked viciously in the forums, and my mailbox was always full of spam from various people sending me images of half-naked women, invites to XXX sites, and just disgusting messages from homosexuals and others who were prejudiced against me due to the Christian theme of my page.

I advised my nephews and nieces to not use MySpace and I've given them the URL's of a number of excellent Christian alternatives. So far, all but one of them (that I know of) have taken my advice.

I agree that myspace can be bad, but as others have said it has its advantages. i can keep in touch with family and friends that live far away from me and spread the word of God at the same time. You just have to be careful and only talk to people that you are positive that you know who it is.

There is evil everywhere. As Christians we cant hide, shed light on a dismal situation. We have a myspace site aswell as a myspace music artist page for our group. We have made contact with many great people in the Lord! We couldnt be more thankful.
