I'm not sure if many of you know this, but multiple names that the quran uses for the name of their god allah, is the names Jesus uses for Himself. I'm NOT glorying allah, or the quran by any means whatsoever, just showing that the quran also claims Jesus is God, without them even realizing it! Now whether they did this unknowingly (as in never actually studying the Bible) or intentionally, I still find it strange.

Al Haq = Truth. Jesus said, "I am the way, the TRUTH, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

Al baeth = The resurrection. Jesus said to her, "I am the Resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die." John 11:25-26

Al awal = The FIRST & Al akher = the LAST. "Who has performed and done it, Calling the generations from the beginning? I, the LORD, am the First; And with the last I am HE." Isaiah 41:4 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First
and the Last, the Beginning and the End." Revelation 22:13-16

Al malek = King of kings. Revelation 17:17 - "They will make war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will overcome them because He is Lord of Lords and King of Kings."

Al Hadi = the Guide. Jesus said, "I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and fine pasture." John 10:9

Al nur = The Light. Jesus said in John 8:12, "I am the Light of the World. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the Light of life."

Could it be that the Quran, even though many muslims deny the divine nature of Jesus Christ, could be IN FACT proving it to be true without them knowing? I found it very interesting! Your welcome to criticize, analyze do whatever you like, just had to share this with you guys. God's blessings and lovingkindness be upon you in Jesus name.

I noticed all westerns misunderstand the exact meaning of Allah, It simply means GOD, our mighty God, supposedly Muslims, Christians and Jews believe in God (Allah).

It has no connection to Islam itself! Don't misunderstand the word, in the Arabic Bible translations, we use the word Allah in the bible referring to the Father, the same God we all Christians worship.

It's a literal translation of word God.
I hope you noticed the difference between the misconception and the fact.

Christians from Lebanon have this experssion "Katar Kheer Allah."
It simply means "Thanks God."

Or "Inshaa Allah." whch means "If God is willing."

Concerning the rest of your thread, We all know muslims stole so many parts of the Bible as a reference when they wrote it themselves, it mainly consisted of the O.T, N.T and Epic poetry of these middle ages times.

Of course, I don't believe the god or, idol, of the islamic religion to be YHWH, I just found it strange that those names proved Jesus' claims were true. I believe islam to be false of course. I'm not sure if I understand completely what your saying though, are you saying those translations of those names are incorrect?

Ah, okay, just read your edit. I knew they stole alot of Biblical books, and sprinkled their own version of 'truth' or what they believe to be truth, in it. Did the Bible not warn us of that fact? Like Ishmael being born to Abraham through sarah's servant.

Logically speaking, God had to put Abraham through a very hard situation, He had to ask him to choose between Him and something he dearly loved.

I bet he had to love Isaac much more, being born of the woman he adored and how faithful he was to her, a woman who understood his tough situation and brought him a wife, Abraham wouldn't love the servants son as much as Sarah's son.

That's why it HAD to be Isaac, God knew Abraham loved Isaac very much.

Muslims are not that bright, they didn't think it through. :shade:

A name above all names but ONE in the same. I think it so interesting that Jesus embodies all truth, even in the other belief systems.
the bible says..every knee shall bow.

I think anyone that has a heart of compassion and true love, one who seeks rightousness and purity, peace of mind, those who really seek the face of the ONE and ONLY GOD..all find JESUS...even if they start seeking in another belief system..when it's pure seeking..it's Him that they find in the end.

God Bless you for sharing your thoughts, I enjoyed reading them.

Yep, we sure do, but I doubt the muslims used them with the knowledge of what our Lord Jesus Christ claimed! If they did it with knowledge of what was in the New Testament, they wouldn't be claiming that Jesus wasn't God, because they themselves embraced the names He used for Himself. My point was that, like Angelfive said, we know as Christians that Jesus is the Messiah, and Lord. But the fact that the same names Jesus used for Himself are used in another religion just go on proving His divine qualities, is AWESOME. Imo at least.
