Very Close Check spelling of some of the names. I think your on the right track but it wouldn't be fair to give credit until credit is due. Must have two names with each answer. Sorry!

Greetings everyone!
This was a fun question for me.

I know the quiz has already been won, but you see I have spent the best part of this evening looking at ancient maps of Turkey and reading about the places Paul started his churches. It was really interesting to know where those places are, because I never linked it up with that area in the world!
My answer was going to be "Konstantinoupolis" and "Konstantiniye" was on the coins. The ancient city was so big that it as known also as "Polis" - the city. When saying "to the city", people said "eist enpolin" (which sounds like 'is-tin polin') The word Istanbul has been derived from that. I learned so much from this quiz. Thanks Yeshua. Congratulations to Chad for winning! You learn something new every day hey?

Jesus Loves You!
