I have this friend and he was trying to put a church together. He gathered up a whole pile of friends and they built the church. My friend stepped out of the spotlight for a while and let the church minister itself. When he returned, he cried his heart out, because every single one of the members of this particular church were preaching false doctrine and praying to angels and saints instead of God. My friend had no choice about when he left and he anguishes and wishes he had never built any church. But I tell him just to pick up the foundations and move on, this time staying actively involved in the church.

This friend of mine is a really nice guy and loves God so very much. Maybe you could say prayers for him. I also told him about the parable of gathering up people from the streets..., he knew which parable it was. Anyway I have 100% trust that he loves his Father more than anything in existence and I have faith that he will gather up from the streets and get his mission statement on the right track again. I really think that he should forgive these people he put so much faith in, but I also want to see him move on, pick up a few friends from the street. Anyway, I believe he can do it. This guy is so on fire for the Lord.:lightning :sun:  :rainbow:

While one man is not the church, this is a very bad move. A pastor is to lead the flock of sheep. Leaders must be there, consistent and in attendance all the time. A church cannot minister itself without the leader.

Always pray the Father's will be done, sister. I know your heart means well and likely your friends too. We all make mistakes, we all learn. Life is full of trials and errors and I'm grand on that experience as I've gone through various trials and errors myself, even here on the forums.

My advice is to pray the Father's will be done. Actually, its GOD's commandment even confirmed by Jesus Himself.

I will keep your friend in prayer. GOD bless you
