Pray in Jesus' name and trust in GOD alone for your answer sister. Sometimes there is a reason why GOD may not allow you to go (if that is the case here, I would not know). Maybe GOD has something bigger and better in store for you in the future. Remember, everything happens for a reason

God bless you

I agree with brother Chad...and would like to say Welcome to Talk Jesus. I will be praying for you as well...

God bless you sister

Idea for Sue & maybe friend too

:lightbulb
Mom & I had a similar instance about a year ago with our church's yearly retreat/get-together/fellowship.

It turned out that there was an inn nearby that we could stay at, then pay for meals that we were to eat with church group & were able to join-in the majority of the activities, all for less than the price it would have cost us if there'd been room there.

I'd suggest investigating to see if this is an option for you & keep the faith.

Thank you guys

Hi everyone...thanks for the reply, yesterday me ad y friend prayed about our situation and we also think that if it happens that we do not get to go it is probably is that Jesus has something better in mind.Thank for your prayer

Something happened yesterday as we were sharing iwe decided to pray for our families and everything else especially our financial situation at both our homes and we asked God to release funds, and heal all outr family meebers who are sick and afterwards she told me that every time when she prays and she gets deep into prayer she always feels dizzy as if she is about to fall.So i told her it might an attack from the devil cause after i got saved i had these intense headaches i cudnt even concentrated and everytime i stood up in prayer i also felt dizzy..I mentioned in our fellowship group and they prayed but iall got worse and i kept on rebuking the headache spells and dizziness until they were no more....So that is y i think she is also experiencing the same thing

Another what does the bible verse that says 'many are called but few are chosen mean'

Many are called few are chosen...means that God calls many people but only few answer or keep there faith in Christ. If you keep your faith you will be chosen. It goes like this, called chosen and faithful...

God bless TryphinaKinJC

Contact the people taking reservations and ask them to noyify you of any last-minute cancellations that would make room for you. Also, they may have some donors who provide money to help needy folks to attend.

And, of course, pray---------pray------------------pray-------------pray--

Regarding "Many are called, but few are chosen" (Mt 22:14):

God has called all mankind to Himself and there is planted in each person a belief that there is some sort of divine power out there running the universe. But, very few will truly seek God and receive salvation.

In ancient Israel, whenever a rich man held a banquet, he would first send out invitations announcing the event. When the preparations were complete, he would send his servants out to those who had been invited. The servants would give those folks notice to come to the banquet (a second invitation).

To accept the first invitation and refuse the second one was considered an unspeakable insult and if the guy throwing the banquet was the king, you'd probably wind up dead.
