Thanks that was really helpful. I really appreciate your response. I will pray and know god is with meHi Rutgers,
The Bible chapter most relevant to your situation IMO is Romans chapter 8, two verses in particular
Romans 8:18 NKJV
[18] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Paul was talking about physical persecution pain but I'm pretty sure this verse applies to sufferings due to ill health. When you finally go 'upstairs', they will be instantly forgotten about, when you see Heaven's beauty and opulence and God's splendour, power and wonder.
Jesus compares it to a woman in childbirth. When she sees her little baby, the screaming she suffered moments before, has been forgotten.hat's if you're a believer. If not, you'll forget about the sufferings on this earth, for quite the opposite reason.
Read verse 28, Meanwhile, you don't have to wait until you move on to taste God's love, provision and care -
Romans 8:28 NKJV
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
God controls and powerfully intervenes but only for His believers. The rest are in a kayak without a paddle, hoping that the waterfall's some way off.
Hope this ggives you some direction.
God bless,
Andy
