I am addicted to Porn and lust, for a long time now ..and I really need prayer... I dont no what to do I try and fill my mind with God and I..dont want to lead to anything els..please please pray for me...thank you so much...

I know what u going through friend I have struggled with the same problem myslef for a long time. Hold ur head up there is nothing that God can't help u overcome, he puts us throught these test for a purpose to come to him with our problems to grow closer to him. I will keep u in my prayers sis God bless and don't give up.

Janelle you have my prayers but God never leads us into temptation according to the book of James. Rather our own sinful nature does. Somehow may you find the strength to resist the evil one. Remember your brain can think of only one thing at a time. When you are tempted simply replace and quickly with something else. You can win! I have known others who have struggled and won so be encouraged. You can do all things through the strength that Christ gives you!

Janelle, we must remember where our thoughts are to be and that is only on Christ. Your head must be in the Bible, God's Word, your healing is there. Mediate on it, memorize it, have your bible with you and read it. Today I went out and purchased a "Read the Bible in a Year Bible." This is what I will take to work and read during my lunches to keep me centered and focused on my Heavenly Father. James tells us that we are enticed by our own evil desires and that is why we sin, when we focus on Christ it is difficult to be enticed.

I am reading a one year bible actualy started this year, and I intend to read it everyday. 3 chapers a day, 5 chaperters on saturday. my friend told me
"when we fill are minds with Gods word, we leave no room for the devil to enter again"
I have to make my choise to not look to that stuff again, and I will keep the bible within my heart, and memorize it.

Your not alone dear friend, and remember no one is perfect. The fact you came forward asking for help is the first step in crushing your addiction, you want help and you want to recieve it today. You are loved by God, by Christ and by the Holy spirit, and as my friend in christ I love you even though I have no met you. Be strong with God anything is possible. I will pray for you and I will think of you in your time of need.

Dear God: I pray for my sibling today in hope that they may find you and get the help they so desperatly need. Lord you are the God of grace and forgiveness and you know by your child coming forth for help that they have nothing to be scared or asshamed of. Christ please help in this situation, only you can clear this dear individuals mind and soul of their addiction. Thank you Jesus for being there for everyone in the times of need. I pray Lord that all will be well in the life of my sister in christ.

I know I'm not perfect and I don't want to be that way either but I'm not going to stand by when I feel the Holy spirit come upon me and tell me that my sister in christ needs prayers! Hi janelle4Christ, as was said by others it is good that you are able to speak out the temptations that you have. You are not on your own and Christ knows what is in your heart. If you read Romans 8 it tells you how you can overcome temptation. It is not easy but Jesus is greater than he that is in the world. Read and meditate on it at put it into practice, you will see the change when you speak Gods word into your life. Gods word is a two edged sword, there is such power in his word, it brings life or death into our situations.
