New Here & Would Love To Meet Everybody

I guess I'm the new kid on the block. At least I wish I was a kid, kind of. But a big kid, like at least twenty-one. However, I'm quiet a bit older than that!
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself, jump in and get my feet wet, so to speak.
I am so excited about finding this forum. I have met a lot of Christian friends in other forums but unfortunately, other than requesting prayer, religious threads are not allowed in the one I go to most often. It is so nice to know that there is a forum for Christians who want to talk about the Lord or the Bible or any aspect of Christianity. I am so excited about finding Talk Jesus!!
O.K., I'm way over 21, I'm happily married to a wonderful husband for 28 years (will be, as of 10-25-08 anyway) and we have an absolutely fantastic 27 year old son (as of this September) and we are all Christians first and Baptists second. God has truly blessed me, even since before I was born and throughout my whole life.
I believe in the power of prayer and I love to share the love of Jesus with others. I don't like debating or arguing about the Bible, God or religion. That is just something I don't think should be done.
So, hopefully, thats enough to start out with. Now, how about it? Can we get to know one another? I hope so! God Bless!

Thank you Mounty for the warm welcome! L'm just getting my feet wet right now but I hope to be in full swing soon. I have been busy trying to reorganize and redecorate my house after my mother passed away in June of t his year. My sister has moved in to our mother's house and there were so many of her things that neither of us could part with, so, what I wanted, I brought to my house and have been getting rid of some of my things to make room for Mamma's things. I don't know if I will evver be caught up enough to have a lot of computer time but I'm trying really hard. We had a wonderful spiritual experience with her passing and I am planning on starting a thread about it soon. I wanted to check with the mods first and at least go read through some of the threads to see how you all do things here. Just getting my feet wet has shown me that this site is quiet a bit different than another site I go to. So, I'm just watching and learning for now. Thanks again for the warm welcome! God Bless!
