I was just awake at night, thinking about how Jehovah witnesses for instance do not believe in heaven or hell, just that when you die you go to paradise. To each religion, their own belief basically.

But it just had me wondering, which of us is really right at the end of the day. Is it possible that all the JWs in the world will go to hell because they didn't live according to God's or will? Or will we all just end up in this "paradise"?

Now I might not be right about JWs beliefs, but I'm just trying to drive a point.

Hope I'm not in the wrong segment tho, I'm new here!

Glad you have found us here and have decided to ask questions. You will find here in this Christian Community of Believers in Christ Jesus many who will answer what questions you may have.

Thirdly, you are correct that each religion basically has their own belief system. Which means if you are the one seeking, you will have to study to find out which is correct, and which ones are not.

Many people are of the belief that all religions are the same. This is not true. In truth they all can't be right! What a crazy universe it would be if that were so!!! Not only do they contradict each other, but in the case of Hinduism. You'd have to deal with over 300,000 gods!!! That is why research is important part for the seeker. So, to start you off here are a couple of links that might be helpful for you to take a look at that will have you hopefully give you the beginnings of seeing what Christianity is all about. You don't say how familiar you are with us, but we'll try to help you in anyway we can.

To answer one of your questions, on the Jehovah Witness'. First they are not considered Christian, but rather are more closely related to a cult. Some of the beliefs they have are unique to them, and if looked at closely and compared to the Holy Bible, which Christians consider the Word of God, they fall short. Which is probably the reason that they have written their own Bible, and also some handouts which they also consider equal in authority to it. I don't want to get too deep into their theology, so will just say, that it would be best that you don't use them as a litmus test for Christianity in general. I studied with them as a young child in my teens for about two years. So, don't speak blindly concerning their theology/beliefs.

I will ask what you believe, because you haven't stated what, if any, belief you do have.

Welcome to the forum, it is interesting that you ask about JW on your first post in the forum, it is also interesting, I think, that you talk of hell and paradise but also confirm you are not saved.

The first word in your post that stands out is the one about 'religion'. You are right there are so many which can be right?

The simple test is this one...

Religion is man's attempt to reach God, Muslim, Hinduism, Seikism, etc.
- They all worship a dead God
- They all work for salvation, do good deeds to get points. merits, etc.

True Christianity is the reverse, it is God's attempt to reach man.
- Christianity - has a living God
- Christianity - God sent His One and Only Son, to live amongst us, and die for us, for our sins.
- Christianity - Salvation is a Free Gift for all who come to God through Jesus, via the Cross
- Christianity - we cannot work for or earn Salvation, it really is a Free Gift

I said True Christianity, but in Christianity there are many flying the flag, but not adhering to God's Word and the Truth in it
- There are many Christian denominations that have made Christianity a Religion, they expect the members to work for their Salvation.
- There are Christian denominations that do not follow God's Word but say they do, some have even changed God's Word.

The devil does not want anyone to come to the Lord, he does not want anyone to receive the Free Gift of Salvation, Salvation only comes through Jesus, but many preach a false gospel. As a result this naturally leaves many confused, it is not surprising, it is the devil's work.

I was once a none believer, I thought all religions were the same, just done a different way, but our sins veil us from the Truth. The media is partly to blame, they comment on 'religion' as one each with a different title or name.

Then to make matters even more confusing there are the groups like the JW, who quote certain scriptures from the King James Bible, but then use their own version, translation. God's Word tells us clearly, not one Jot or Tittle shall be changed from His Word, the JW have certainly done that, so has the Roman Catholic Church. They mislead people, they confuse people, yet stand up and proclaim their way is right. Confusing yes?

The Truth is in God's Word, The Bible, but the unchanged Bible. Now here comes another item in our consideration of what is right, to be right with God. You may say, but there are many Bibles. That would be wrong, there is only One Bible, but there are many translations, some are expounding The Word, keeping scripture as clear as possible to the original, others are written in what they may call todays English, but they can fluff over parts of scripture and that does not help the reader. The most trusted in the first group are the KJV or NKJV, (King James Version or New KJV).

The JW know this and that is why initially they quote from the KJV Bible, then use their own version to push what they have chosen to believe, their interpretation. You are right to question this @Efeey they are what is called a cult, they are misguiding people.

Hi and thanks for your reply. You said salvation is a free gift and we do not have to work for it, how then do we obtain this gift?
Would be grateful if you could expatiate on that please thanks

Unfortunately though, anyone who rejects Jesus will suffer the result.
