Hello to all!
Just for a little backgorund about me:
I just turned 41 and have only dabbled at times during my life with religion and faith. I grew up in a household where faith and church was not presented to me by my parents. Church was only given thought when I was in the presence of my grandparents and during certain holidays. Both my Mother and Father have extensive religious backgrounds. In fact, my grandfather on Mother's side was a preacher during the early years of my life before his passing.
Anyway, during the past calendar year, through personal loss and a move from California to Arkansas, Jesus has entered my life. My wife and I have talked during moments of self-examination about the need for more spirituality and purprose. She is baptized Lutheran and asked me if I wanted to attend church - it felt right to me and so we found a church and committed to attendance.
On Feburary 3rd I was saved!
On a somewhat humorous note: I am not a reader, but love to read and immerse myself in the Bible and other materials that help support my spiritual growth.
