no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus?

I know the Lord. I know that he shed his blood on the cross as payment for my sins. For some reason I still feel condemned when I sin against him for a sin that I (supposedly) repented of. example:(cursing). I know that when we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive, yet for some reason my eyes are not opened, or my mind cannot seem to understand the true FREEDOM we have in our Lord Jesus Christ because of the constant sinning and confessing in our daily lives. I really need some input on this... Thank you so much.

If, when you sin, you feel condemned, then you are responding to the harsh and raucous voice of the enemy, who loves to point the finger and condemn you.

The way the Lord deals with us when we sin is by the conviction of Holy Spirit, who gently nudges us and says something like, "That was not right. Ask Me for forgiveness and I will freely give it. Come on, let's move on and do this together the right way and I will help you."

THAT is the voice we hear when we sin! CHOOSE to cast off the harsh condemnation of the enemy and CHOOSE to hear the gentle nudging of Holy Spirit, whose job it is to convict. CHOOSE to believe the word of God:

Romans 8:1
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

For some reason I still feel condemned when I sin against him for a sin that I (supposedly) repented of. example:(cursing)

"For when we were controlled by the sinful nature, the sinful passions were at work in our bodies, so that we bore fruit for death. But now, by dying to what once bound us (our sin nature), we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code." (Ro 7:5-6 NIV)

I can relate to the cursing issue. That was one of the enemy's strongholds in my life when I came to Christ in 1983. Four letter words rolled off my tongue routinely every day almost unknowingly. But, when I acknowledged Jesus as my Lord and Savior for the first time and He came into my heart, I began to serve in the new way of the Spirit and my behavior began to change.

Did the cursing disappear quickly or completely? the answer is "No!" on both counts. To this day, I'm prone to spitting out a curse word or two when I injure myself or when I damage something by accident. We are still fallible human beings, but, we are free from the control of our sin natures and thus from the curse of the law.
