Absolutely not. The situation at the moment is very dangerous, with the lives of millions in the potentially under threat.

Beginning military action would guarantee that thousands of civilians in North Korea, South Korea and Japan would be lost. North Korea may inevitably be overpowered, but any military strategy would have to take Chinese response into account.

I cannot see any scenario in which military action does not end in disaster.

Praying for the wisdom of leaders on all sides, and for some way to open dialogue between N Korea and the rest of the world.

Greetings brother @Chad

I agree with @Hekuran...the loss of life and associated risks of initiating an attack would be colossal.

I would guess a counter attack on South Korea would be inevitable

In fact for years Japan and South Korea have effectively deterred continued threats of war by North Korea despite being 'dangerously close' bordering nations. So surely America can do the same...seek to deter war rather than heat the situation up even more.

Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.
Luke 11:12

And I will bring calamity upon them,
Even My fierce anger,’ declares the LORD,
‘And I will send out the sword after them
Until I have consumed them.

Well, although I voted no, it really depends of the action taken. Some actions are too late to act upon afterwords, sending in some massive computer virus or detonating an EMP bomb to disable their military when intell points to a major attack on us would be preferable. Even this action could cause some deaths by accident but it would keep a much larger death toll from occurring.

War is messy and bad all way around. Yes agreed If all else fails and your back is against a wall then one must do what It takes to save innocent lives.

First of all, North Korea is just a poor excuse of a communist country. It's just another name for "discrete Chinese business" that China would not be able to openly pursue on their own for everybody would find them suspicious of starting WWIII in no time. Oh right, one might think they're on the verge of declaring it if both sides don't stop threatening the other concerning the implementation of more aggressive economic measures against the other nation...

The devil loves to begin wars, fallen humans also love to be part of them. Some of their own victims even end up loving the way they feel while living in such troubled times for they think their nation needs them or they just think they can't live without a tyrant telling them what to do next. Yeah, sin can make us feel like real donkeys disguised as human beings. Have you noticed that most wars begin for uncertain reasons? It's quite rare to know the actual motives or situations that lead us to partake in such a terrible mistake, WWII is one of those unusual cases and even then the reason behind is even more stupid than we might have thought at first.

Passions = wars

Even if we're passionate believers, the enemy will try to lead us to confusion and disbelief. So no matter what we think, we always end up involved in warfare. Hopefully we all can say it's just spiritual and no blood need to be shed.

Don't forget to pray!
