we are back to normal and this week we are learning on obedience. We are studying Abraham and How God tested him with his son Isaac. Abraham trusted in God so much that he was going to sacrifice Isaac as a burnt offering to the Lord. Now could you imagine how hard it would be for us to do that with our own children. Sometimes God asks us to do things much lesser and we still don’t do it. It could be from paying tithes to blessing some one else. Look how much Abraham was blessed By God.

It was because he was obedient to God with all he had. God said in Genesis 22:15 By myself I have sworn says the LORD, because you have done this thing , and have not withheld your son your only son, in blessing I will bless you, and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars in heaven and as the sand on the sea shore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. In your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed because you have obeyed my voice. NKJ. Blessings came upon not only on him but his descendants from generation to generation now that’s awesome. See its so important to obey him because its seed planted in to our children as well. Example if your child sees you doing Godly things they normally will fallow if they see a life of drugs and violence well they take on that character too. Just a little reminder of how important it is to obey him.

Praise God for obedience! This must come first before sacrifice and sacrifice is obedience from the discussion you and I had in Live Chat. I confess I try to get "around" obedience as God commands and find I can never get to the other side. I still go around in circles. But once I realize that His children are watching they wonder, why does he make it so complicated? hmmm? Could He be using His children to minister to us?
