So before Moses died, his hand wrote his own death, how he was buried, how the children of Israel wept for him and so on and so forth?

I have never heard that taught before nor do I accept it. YHWH had many servants to speak through, not the least of which was Joshua.

Is that a resounding no? And what is this religious tradition that you speak of? And if no, then who wrote the ending?
There are apparently at least 4 authors/redactors for the Penteteuch, recognized by their writing Styles and use of terminology.
They are the Jahwist (J), Elohist (E), Deuteronomist (D), and Priestly (P). The first book in the Interpreter's Bible goes into more detail.

Ok thanks for the context.

How could anyone forget The Grumbling of Moses and the jealous ness of Joshua! Now let GOD give You understand as you read, and pray that he does and wait on the answer, as you walk in The Cool of The Day and do not force it, There is No need. For you are His “Child”:pensive:

16The LORD therefore said to Moses, “Gather for Me seventymen from the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and their officers, and bring them to the tent of meeting, and have them take their standthere with you. 17Then I will comedown and speak with you there, and I will take away some of the Spirit who is upon you, and putHim upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, so that you will not bear it byyourself. 18And you shall say to the people, ‘Consecrateyourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have weptin the ears of the LORD, saying, “[p]Oh that someone would give us meat to eat! For we were well-off in Egypt.” Therefore the LORD will give you meat and you shall eat.19You shall eat, not one day, nortwo days, nor five days, nor tendays, nor twenty days, 20[q]but for a whole month, until it comes outof your nose and [r]makes you nauseated; because you have rejected the LORD who is amongyou and have wept before Him, saying, “Why did we ever leaveEgypt?”’” 21But Moses said, “The people, among whom I am included, are six hundredthousand on foot! Yet You have said, ‘I will give them meat, so that they may eat for a whole month.’22Are flocks and herds to be slaughtered for them, so that it will be sufficient for them? Or are allthe fish of the sea to be https://biblehub.com/nasb_/numbers/11.htm#fncaughtfor them, so that it will be sufficientfor them?” 23Then the LORD saidto Moses, “Is the LORD’S [t]powertoo little? Now you shall seewhether My word will https://biblehub.com/nasb_/numbers/11.htm#fncome truefor you or not.”

24So Moses went out and told the people the words of the LORD. He also gathered seventy men of the elders of the people, and positioned them around the tent.25Then the LORD came down in the cloud and spoke to him; and He took away some of the Spiritwho was upon him and placed Himupon the seventy elders. And when the Spirit rested upon them, they prophesied. Yet they did not do it again.

26But two men had remained in the camp; the name of the onewas Eldad, and the name of the [v]other, Medad. And the Spiritrested upon them (and they were among those who had been registered, but had not gone out to the tent), and they prophesied in the camp. 27So a young man ranand informed Moses, and said, “Eldad and Medad are prophesying in the camp.” 28Then Joshua the son of Nun, the personal servant of Moses from his youth, responded and said, “My lord Moses, restrain them!”29But Moses said to him, “Are you jealous for my sake? If only all the LORD’S people were prophets, that the LORD would put His Spiritupon them!” 30Then Moses[w]returned to the camp, both he and the elders of Israel.”

I am sure that Joshua or Caleb or even Aaron wrote the final verses that speak of these events. The assumption that Moses wrote his own post death obituary is not based on evidence and is as absurd as supposing that God dictated word for word the contents of Genesis 1-11 (and maybe more) when Moses himself refers to the source being earlier extant documents (like the books of the generations of Adam and Noah).

Again thank you for your encouraging words. HE is flying me upon His wings I do say. Where I am going I will only know after it has passed. So I'm tied with a double figure-8 fisherman's knot at both ends.

I do wonder why you have included struck-out text  [please though I beg you do not answer - and let it remain]. It caused me to squint, read much much slower and with higher focus .

Did Moses write his own obituary?

2 Peter 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

It is not hard for the Lord to continue through another "author" whom are not really the authors of what they have written in all respect.
