"I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High." Psalm 9:1-3

There is a beautiful song we used to sing when we were little kids. The song says: "I want to sing but with huge strength; huge strength that shakes mountains; strength that awakens the dead; strength that makes all people mighty men. I want to rejoice and be filled with such immense joy that embraces the entire universe; Joy that dominates my heart, flows within my inner being and comforts me till I meet YOU. All my bones will praise YOU; Because YOU live in me and I live in YOU; My mind and soul are joyful of YOU; Glory Glory Glory be to YOU."

I still remember the fervency, energy, enthusiasm and sincerity we used to sing this song with. I wonder if grown-ups could sing it like kids. No wonder that our beloved Savior Jesus said, "Verily I say unto you, except you be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 18:3

Jesus did not mean being as little children in body or mind but in soul and attitude. Little children rejoice at the little things, trust easily, love to the deepest and laugh from the heart. When they are not happy for any reason, they do not hold up events in their memories or hold grudges against people. They are not aware of themselves and self-pity has not kicked in yet in their minds. They simply talk with their parents about the issue and few seconds later the whole issue is forgotten.

Let's look at our Father and brighten up. Let's tell Him were approaching His throne in confidence based on Jesus' blood. Open up to Him; smile in His presence, pour out all the stored things before Him and ask Him to renew the attitude of little children in us. Sing and rejoice! Your past is in His Hands; leave it. The present is under His supervision; live it to the fullness in Jesus Christ. Your future is secured in Jesus' blood; do not worry about it. Jesus has promised, "Lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world." Matthew 28:20
