Out of darkness into light

'For ye were sometimes darkness,
but now are ye light in the Lord:
walk as children of light:'
(Ephesians 5:8)

Hello there,

When we walk in the light of God's presence we do not cast a shadow upon those around us, for we are light in the Lord. The fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is acceptable unto the Lord. 'Goodness' and 'Righteousness' and 'Truth' are the measures whereby we prove what is acceptable unto the Lord in our daily lives. For we are to have no 'fellowship' with the unfruitful works of darkness, but are to reprove them, for by doing so we make them manifest for what they are, for whatever makes manifest is light, and we are light in the Lord.

We are to walk as children of light.
