Patriot Act say the law has made it too easy
for law enforcement to spy on people. They
contend that, by easing restrictions on the use
of surveillance tools once reserved for
foreign-intelligence investigations, the law
cuts too deeply into personal liberties and
privacy rights.
The Justice Department dismisses these
objections, saying there have been no
reported abuses of the act and no s
ubstantiated claims that civil rights have
been violated.
But civil liberties groups say that because
the act mandates secrecy about many of
its uses, Americans may never know whether
their privacy has been violated by law-enforcement
investigators relying on the act's powers.

Since the terroism of Sept. 11th. 2001, the
President who instituted the 'Patriot' Act is now
asking for a ratification that could jeapordize our
freedoms that we enjoy now!
If approved by the U.S. Congress, the FBI will no
longer need to go to a Federal districtre judge to
acquire a search 'warrant to 'bust' into your
home with 'no' warning! If there is the 'least' bit of
evidence of probable cause all in the name of the
'War on Terror'!
Brethren, we need to really pray for our President
for wisdom and guidance from God's Word. Also,
that the Lord sends him 'REAL' Christians for counsel
'armed ' with the Word ofGod.
Proverb:24:6: For by wise counsel thou shalt make
thy war: and in multitude of counsellers there is safety.
1Tm:2:1: I exhort therefore, that, first of all,
supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving
of thanks, be made for all men;
1Tm:2:2: For kings, and for all that are in authority;
that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and honesty.
