I signed up on a Catholic forum called Catholic Answers. I am afraid I am not very good at debating them. Would it be OK if I used some of your posts to make a few points? I won't do it unless I have your permission. Are any of you familiar with Catholic Answers?

Hello sister welcome to Talk Jesus. I'm not sure what your motive is over there (or here) but I noticed in your profile you state you are not a Christian. What exactly are you trying to debate about over there?

Anyway, Talk Jesus is 100% non-denominational. It is all about Christ Jesus. 100% Christ. 0% Religion.

I await your response. GOD bless you!

My name is Paula I am new to this site. I am not sure if I am doing this right.
Anyway, I am a newly rededicated christian, about 1 year, I am not very familiar with alot of scripture, but have the desire to get closer to God, I would like to strengthen my walk with Jesus in every way possible.

Thank you and God Bless!!!!

We were debating the authority of the Bible. How do I know it is the final word and that tradition isn't? Here is an example of part of a post one of them sent me. Where did our Bible come from?

Several challenges have been presented to you on this thread that you
must answer if you are to defend your position. (For example, if
Scripture is the only authority you have, how do you know from Scripture which
books should be included, and which should be rejected). Why the KJV?
It wasn't even the earliest English translation. Not to mention the fact
that it is an Anglican translation, and they were at the time, in many
ways, much more Catholic than Evangelical .

Sister Alfie,

It is best not to debat. Just hang out with us and pray for them in the meantime that the Holy Spirit may reveal to them whatever He wants to.

God bless you

EL SHADDAI made a coveninent within the old testiment. This went South,so He offered a New and Everlasting Promise. God cannot lie nor will He ever. So, He came here as a man. He told them to go ahead and drive the nails in my hands and say that I am not He. Someday you will see that I will rise again. Call youself anything that you wish but death cannot keep Me in the ground.
