I don't know how to say this except we are broke. I just got another overdrawn bank statement, -$61. My husband is going to blow his top when he gets home.

I am not an expensive person. Neither one of us are fancy. Hubby just doesn't make a large enough amount for all the ends to meet, if you know what I am saying.

I feel sure that there is something that I can do to bring in income. Whatever it is, the Lord has not shown me yet. We need money, fast. Several bills are sitting on my desk right now that are late, and I have no way to pay them. If I have to take a job cleaning or something like that, it would be okay. Just hard taking the baby with me; he is extremely over-active

Please pray for us.

Dreamer, I will pray for you and hubby. It isn't the best time of the year either, with holidays coming up. All I can say is, my husband and I have been there. And somehow God always provided for us, unexpected money owed to us would just turn up, an unexpected pay raise , a small job opportunity would come our way which fit into our lifestyle and schedules, God is faithful. He will look after you, trust in the Lord, and continue to pray to God about your circumstances.

calluna and jculver----The Lord provides. He simply Is Who He Says He Is....and I really believe that!!!!

After getting offline, I put my ultra-active toddler in the playpen (even though he can climb out of it if he wants to) and took a shower. Now, I do not know why the Lord speaks to me in the shower, I guess it is because maybe I smelled bad before.

Anyway--quite a while back--about 6 months ago the Lord told me to talk to the editor of the newspaper and ask him to pay for the articles I submit, because they use all the articles and photographs that I do about local people and ministries, but they don't pay me for them. Well....my husband fed fear into me at that time. He said, "Don't do it. They won't pay you. The whole (insert proper name) family has always owned the newspaper here in this town. They take care of their own, etc. and they will laugh at you." So I didn't obey God.

Well, I'm about to obey God now. Hope it's not too late. Pray for me.

joyce meyer spoke about God's grace in one of her sermons. and she reminded me that God is always gracious, but in order to recieve that grace we have to CHOOSE to walk in it. that means, pick up the faith and do whatever it is we CAN do and allow God to do what we can't. i admire your strength to take that scary step. i know God is watching over you and He will open / close doors to lead you on the right path.

hey there dreamer your quite couragous to open these news here to your online family on TJ God bless you, your hubby and your baby and keep you well taken care off I can relate to your situation. . .we have been fighting unemployment and too low of an income for our size family for years . . . not that you wanna get used to it . . .but I just wanna encourage you not to loose your joy over it The joy of the Lord is your strenght. . .and no money in the world, less or more, can change that! Yes, money is the kind of paper we need for the transaction of getting stuff in everyday life. . .but we only earn it to give it further. . .we dont earn it to eat it . . .you see. . money has such power over us to make our day good or bad. . but it shouldnt have the right to have such power over us . . .if we can free ourselves with the help of Jesus from that chain. . .then we are good to go into our day joyfully. .knowing about all the bills on the desk. . .and working on them one at the time. . .one at the time. . . I am so sorry I never even saw this thread! You are in my prayers auntie Dreamer, you have been for quite some time, I will pray for your financial situation and there will be a resolution! Have faith in the greater power of Jesus!
