Tonight something happened I was talking to my husband about the devil and his schemes when you are married . I was saying that he tries to destroy marriages, and how he causes division in people so they argue etc after our discussion I fell asleep but then I woke and I could not get up from bed I was screaming out my husbands name over and over but my voice wouldn't come out, the devil was behind me and I was scratching his legs for him to release me but it felt like I was paralysed . If I'm totally honest it really scared me I don't even want to sleep again cause it was just awful, I would really appreciate if you could pray for me thank you so much

Hi Sherlena, Don't worry, I have experienced the same attack, and that's what it is. I have on several occasions been in bed when the attack came upon me. I tried to cry out Jesus is Lord but the words would not come out. The answer is in scripture; Satan can only do what he is permitted to do; read Job! We are told that we will only be given what we can deal with 1 Corinthians 10:13. Our faith is tried, not to test us, but to show us that we can stand our ground in trials. Stand strong and trust the Lord Bless you.

I’m sorry to hear that, Sherlena. I can relate to what you’ve experienced. James 4: 7 says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” Please don’t be afraid of the devil. Stay strong in the Lord and rebuke the devil. I just said a prayer for you, asking the Lord to surround you with His loving presence and protect you under the shadow of His wings.
