Please pray for missionary in Uzbekistan
This was sent to us by a missionary that our church supports. Please be in prayer for this situation. God bless.

Please pray for our BIEM man in Uzbekistan. Here are
some of the problems he is faced with at this time.
His wife writes:

…Pray for one another…the effectual fervent prayer of
a righteous man availeth much. James 5:16
Dear Brothers and Sisters, we ask for you to support
us in your prayers. We have great need of them. Our
traveling Christian library, that you know we have,
has gotten us into trouble. On the 5th of May, Pastor
Andrey was arrested along with the library and taken
to the police station. They have accused him of
breaking many laws, in regards to the library and
religion. They confiscated the library and his
drivers’ license to be sure that he could no longer
drive around and share his Evangelistic books. They
said that he will wait for his trial and they will
give their judgment against him. Please pray for our
church that it will not have problems because of this,
and pray that there will be no court hearing, but that
we could settle this without a hearing. We ask that
you pray for us to have wisdom to know how to walk in
the days ahead. Thank you for your support and being a
part of this matter. Our family

From what I gather he was in jail, but has been
released, and is now waiting trial. If I understand
the laws and the mind set of those who have arrested
him, he can be fined very heavily at the minimum side
of things. I believe as they throw there accusations
at him he can be given up to 7 years in prison for his
active role in trying to convert Muslims to Christ.
This is a very serious offense in this country, where
they are taught that nothing less than the death
penalty should be given to those diverting affections
from Allah. Please get the word out for our churches
to be praying for them.

Heavenly father I bring this situation before your throne as I pray today. I ask you to protect this Christian brother, your precious servant. I pray Lord that he will be released and set free. Lord Jesus deliver this your servant from all his troubles, and problems, and glorify your Name.

Brave soldiers of Christ

I salute you brave soldiers of Christ. Let me remine you that you have been given the power to preach the gospel of "CHRIST" so,don't be afraid.When the disciples of Jesus were trying very hard to catch fish,they were not able to catch any.But when Jesus came and told them to catch the fish or to throw the net to the other side. They caught much. Is it not wonderful. . Peter and his friends were imprisoned in the jail , they were not afraid or unhappy to suffer for his name. Meanwhile prayer was continuely made for peter and his friends. That night an angel of God visited and delivered and brought him out. He was presented to the believers and they thanked God for his timely deliverance ..............................I am praying for you. Praise the Lord. Don't be afraid give everything in prayer.

Yes, let us pray...that the Lord would give reassurance and strength, keeping their faith alive through this time, that they shine the light of Jesus in keeping their faith , as a witness to His glory. That the persecutors would see Jesus, that the oppressors question this Jesus who we love, and consider calling out to Him, seeking His mercy. That whether bound or free, our brothers and sisters find opportunity to share the Gospel with power, and that the Lord make manifest the gifts of the Spirit, to the glory of God. That those who are now threatened will keep their eyes on Jesus and His name on their lips. That the Lord comfort and give His peace. Yes, let us pray. Oh that the Lord would give Pastor Andrey wisdom and that Andrey would receive from the Lord encouragement as a faithful steward of the gospel. That Andrey be spared from any jail and death, and fines will be overlooked, above all that the gospel is unhindered. For rejoicing and praise for all the Lord has done and for His promises to them who love Him. And let us also praise God, in Jesus name.
