Hi, my name is Morty, and I don't have anywhere else to turn. I love my grandpa, but I feel he has turned from God, and no one else in my family will help me get him back. My grandpa can be very kind, but since he is an alcoholic he can be very volatile. I ask you that you pray with me for the lord to give him the strength to beat his addiction, and to return to God's light. Thank you, and God bless.

Will pray for him Morty. Also, for you and your family.
It can't be easy with someone you love is dependent on something that makes them into something else.

Also, welcome to Talk Jesus Morty Smith.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Morty I have prayed for your grandpa that he will return to God and beat his addiction.

Dear Lord, merciful and kind, perfect, fully sufficient and able, i pray for my brother's grand father, that God you deliver him from the spirit of alcoholism, that you make the taste and addiction dissipate, that every time he sips another one, he'll find it in his spirit he's turned off. God, i also pray for the companionship of the Holy Spirit, and while you've never left Morty's grandpa, he may be hiding behind a fear, a pain, worry which has him addicted in the first place, but knowing Father you are mighty and awesome, and move in mysterious ways, i ask you to stir him up, stir up your spirit within him that he'll never be able to deny your presence. God, like King David before who suffered in flesh, and was fallible, i pray that you be merciful on this man's life, and grant him peace, and hope, and illumine your ways to him. God, what is impossible, improbable and dead for man, is absolutely simple for you. We leave this, trusting and believing in you that all things are possible, thank you Lord for everything, Amen!
