I would like to ask for a prayer for my granny. She is very sick at the moment and in hospital. The doctors can't find anything wrong with her, but she keep on having high fevers that they cant control.

My dad left a few minutes ago with his aunt to travel the 8 hour road trip there.

My gran last night said that Jesus has come to fetch her so I gather she has stopped fighting and want to go home.

So I am just asking to pray for my gran - and for my dad and his aunt that is taking the long trip there.

And for the rest of the family to gather strength in the Lord in this trying times. We have lost too many people these last 2 years and I still cant accept my brother's death at the young age of 24. Then my dad-in-law has passed away also very recently and I have never reconciled with either of them.

To make matter worse for me - in my line of job - I hear constantly of client's dying and its my responsibility to see that I get all the things settled. I must deal with the family remaining and I dont have the personality or the heart to do it. It affects me severely. So I just need the needed strength to stand by my family in this time.

Also my life is in a real mess emotionally at the moment due to other things that are happening/happened. So I am just asking for some stability in my life so that I am able to cope with things at the moment. At least I know God is there for me and I find comfort and security in Him.

thanks

God bless you sister. Your a humble servant and faithful. I sense it in you from your posts and conversations in live chat. Please meditate on this Psalm.

Psalm 20

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary
and grant you support from Zion.

3 May he remember all your sacrifices
and accept your burnt offerings.
Selah

4 May he give you the desire of your heart
and make all your plans succeed.

5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious
and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.
May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;
he answers him from his holy heaven
with the saving power of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,
but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

8 They are brought to their knees and fall,
but we rise up and stand firm.

9 O LORD, save the king!
Answer us when we call!

UPDATE ON MY GRANNY

I got hold of my mom via the phone.

My dad arrived safely yesterday.

She says my gran is just laying there in hospital. They still don't know what is wrong with her. She is not talking to no-one and does eat a bit though. She cant walk anymore as she is too weak now.

She did not have a stroke as all the bloodtests came back clean.

I am sure my gran gave up on live. Just before she came to visit us in August this year - my uncle said to her that she must call all the family together and she must hand out her belongings and my aunts (X2) wants to put her in an old age home.

When she was visiting us - she was crying that she does not want to go to an old age home etc.

She was evidently very upset about all of this. So my mom offered her to come stay by them.

She went home and got sick and ended up in hospital.

She might have been of the age where people do go to old age homes - but she lives on a small holding and she was still watering the land. Her mind was so clear she still work one day in a month in the cafe and she just till bout 2 years ago still helped paying out the pensions.
She was so healthy - that you would really think she is in her early 60's.

So my honest opinion - I think she got so deeply hurt by what the people said that she gave up on life.

They are kind of saying - give out your possessions and die - well that is how I feel about it - it makes me so angry just to think that they actually had the audacity to say something like that to her when she is feeding them and using her little money she has to take care of them. IT feels to me that they have written her off and thrown her away.

ANOTHER UPDATE

Ok I just got news that my gran will be taken off the valium they have given her. Her whole body is poisoned now by infection. They still can't figure out where the infection is. No medication is working at the moment. They say it is just her heart that is keeping her alive. She is now in a coma.

My mom will be leaving tomorrow night as well to my granny. She is unfortunate to travel by bus for 12 hours. If I had more vacation left I would have took it upon me to drive their myself with her and my kids, but unfortunately I my vacation ends this week.

My granny said her final good byes yesterday before she slipped into a coma today.
A friend of mine convinced me to phone her, but when I had the courage to speak to her without crying - she has already lapsed into a coma.

My gran wants to go home and I have made peace with the fact that she might not be here much longer. Even though I am broken up inside, I am rejoicing that she is going to our Father where there is Love in abundance.

Thank you all for all the prayers.

I know that our spirit man rejoices that she will be at peace with our Savior and Lord.

But our hearts will always miss our loved ones. It is mixed emotions. Our Lord will also lift us up as we are left here. We have peace in knowing it is only for a short time. Than we will be with them too!

Oh what a day that will be!

Until than I will pray that you have the peace of Jesus as you walk this situation out.

Love your sister in Christ,
Mary :girl:

Hi Eagle,

The Lord is your resting place,he is your comfortor and your healer, I will pray that the Lord strengthens and guides you. I pray that the Lord will guide to the right place to get healing for the pain you are carrying.

Gods child

THANK YOU

I just want to say thank you to each and everyone that has been praying for my granny and my family. Also thank you for putting up with me and my moods during this trying time.

Today when I got home my mom called me on my cellphone and told me the great news. My gran has came out of the coma and she is eating a little bit. I was also able to speak to her for a short while and even though she was real tired I could hear her faintly replying. I was so rejoiced to speak to her that I had to keep my voice steady and not to cry out of happiness of the second chance I was given to speak to her.

I have to give GOD all the glory for HE has heard everyones prayers. Thank you Lord - You are my Abba Daddy that I know I can turn to in times of need. Thank you for for Your loving grace that is so freely given to me. Thank you for a whole family spread around the globe that You have given me to help me, support me and to pray when things got too difficult for me. Thank you for just being there.
I love You, Abba Daddy.

That is wonderful Eagle!!! God is so good. If you have positive believing people praying everything will work out. I am so glad to hear that she is improving. Just keep believing as will I for her healing. GOD IS GREAT! I will pray for her and yourself. God Bless you.

I will pray for you

I will pray for you but i don't want to seem like a bad person but remember that god has a plan for all of us. If something should happen to her then its all in his plan and something will come out of it.

Don't doubt that GOD will heal her. If people believe and pray in faith she WILL be healed.
