I don't understand why everyone lies about what they are going to do
If there was one party that made totally sure that all of their words was true
I would vote for them and so would you!

Even if they made plans that they couldn't keep i would like them to just tell me why
and not be evasive and lie to the people but just be a straight forward guy
Please poltitcians just try!

That would be very nice, but people lie and politicians are not exempt. They do so to try to gets votes because their prime motive is to win in elections, which means they have to please the majority. In order to please the majority, they either have to lie or use ambiguous statements and stances. That's politics for you, there's never a truly "good guy", most people just have to vote for the "better" of two or more evils. But we as Christians need to realise that the politics of this earth will surely not last forever and we are not of this world and the things of it. Pilippians 3:20 "For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ" Also we need not get too caught up in politics because all these politicians that seem to publicly oppose eachother, are just 2 sides of the exact same coin.

I feel the same way ... in fact it would be nice for one to actually tell the truth ..if they did so most politicians would have to say " Well i don't really mean any of what i am saying ..im not going to work for you in fact im not really going to do much work at all . my agenda is ME ..not you ..you could fall off the face of the earth for all i care ..i only want to waste your tax dollars ..well not waste them ..i will enjoy the mansion the cars the travel accounts and of course the benefits that you work hard but can't afford ... after all i deserve it you don't .."
