My Grandfather had kidney cancer about 3 yrs ago and had the one kidney removed, Last Thursday the kidney he had left was not working, so my Grandmother took him to the ER, They admitted him right away, they had given him medicine I guess to start up his kidney and it was causing his blood pressure to bottom out and he was continually passing out, Friday Evening they finally got the kidney working again than his heart was giving out, and things continued to get worse, By Saturday morning he was on a ventilator because he couldn't breathe on his own, he had to have medicine for his heart to keep it beating fast because it keeps stopping.
Saturday Evening, my mother and I was at the hospital all day, They had to put him in an induce coma, he was not responding to anyone, We went in to and talked to him and told him how much we loved him, and I asked his male nurse if we talked to him if he could hear us, he said he could probably hear you but he won't respond so don't be upset because he's very heavily sedated.. So I looked at my mom and told her I had to try something and I started singing to him. He responded. I sang " One Voice by Billy Gilman " and I got the second verse in and my mom said Jess and I looked up and she pointed to his feet, He was wiggling his feet, than I proceeded to sing, and he lifted up his hands and squeezed both of our hands, the more I sang the more he responded, he lifted his chest off the bed as well as his head off the pillow and turned his head towards me.
It scared me at first I asked mom if I was upsetting him, she said No, he's responding to you, he's letting you know he can hear you, his heart rate calmed down, it was real high at first. The very next Morning ( Christmas Eve ) he was off the ventilator, sitting up and eating his breakfast, The cathetor was out and he was urinating on his own.. he may be able to come home tomorrow. I praise God for using him to do his will. My Grandmother and my mother both feel it was me that helped bring him back, Because the lord told me to go back in and sing to him and the sound of my voice singing helped bring him back, I praise God for the healing over my Grandfather.
His lung doctor told my Grandmother not to even expect a miracle because he was to bad he wasn't even expecting to live through Friday night thats why he had not left his bed side and here he is today doing 100% better thanks to our Lord Jesus Christ.. We believed in his healing we wouldn't settle for anything less and PRAISE GOD he's here with us today and doing 100% better!
