Pray for my husband who was a Pastor for 21 years. We left 2 years ago. Now he is having problems with anger, bitterness, selfishness and uses really bad language.... always at me. He is not the person I married 25 years ago. Sometimes I am afraid of him. He still preaches internationally but people don’t know what he’s really like in private. Really need your prayers. Thank you.

If you can, get him to fast a little. And start a march across his bible from Genesis to Revelation. It will be liken a washing in the Word of God. You must battle the enemy with him. And for get about help books. And local church fellowship for awhile. For where there are 2 or 3 together in my name the Lord is there between the 2 of you. Convince him through the word and a wife’s love. Your fight is not him. Gently lay your hands on Him with gentle prayer. And try gentle to get him to separate from that institution for awhile. Detox you both get more closer to Gods word. With the March as if you where leaving “Egypt and heading for the Promise land with all its trials”
The journey is from “Genesis to Revelation”. No commentaries, just tea and maybe tea cakes by your touching hands.
Remember “Elisha and Naaman”.

13Naaman’s servants went to him and said, “My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you, ‘Wash and be cleansed’!”
(2 Kings 5). Walk with him across the Bible as well so did “Zipporah with Moses” and Abraham with Sarah”. 8 hours a day should not be no problem for a minister in the word once he gets back into it 10 hours should be a breeze .
And listen to his comments into truths that he missed, and encourage him to finish, many will stop. You have the tools that God gave you, to help him, to finish and stay on course. And Be skillful.

Will pray for your husband. And for you.

Does your husband recognise he has a problem with anger and bitterness? Could it be that he is suffering depression or similar?

Dear Lord God,

We do pray for our lovely dear sister Ladybird. I'm not sure what's gone wrong there, maybe a mental health problem - I don't know; but I know someone who does!! And so I ask you to give her the wisdom of your Holy Spirit Lord to guide her in supporting her husband and in turn guiding him to seek help in whatever format he needs. Almost as importantly I pray that your Spirit will give her the love towards her hubby, even though he's being downright unloveable. I know you can relate to that because that's how we are towards you too often.

I also pray for my brother Mr Ladybird, he seems to have issues there Lord. I pray Lord that you will reach through the fog and make him realise that he's being awful to his wife and he needs you to sort him out, and maybe even some professional help.

Thank you Lord for being there for us, thank you for your ear love and care and most of all I thank you Lord for the gift of love, one that we all treasure so dearly.

Amen.

Thank you. Some things I can take from this, some not. He is difficult at the moment and not in the Word.
I appreciate your response.

It makes me wonder too
He is a very funny character and makes everyone laugh... except at home. Can’t remember the last time I laughed.
Thanks for reassurance. And for your prayers.

And I guess you are under lockdown rules in the home together for the next few weeks. A pretty intense scenario at the best of times.

I pray that you'll be able to work things out together. God has a way of drawing good out of the worst situations.

Yes we are in Lockdown. And so far so good. Thank you for your prayers. My God is able to reach into this situation. Feels good to tell someone about this to be honest and to have people come into agreement with me in prayer.

Prayer is FIRST i would also suggest a real good medical check-up.. with you in on the visit..

Thank you. Prayer is definitely the priority. He wouldn’t believe there is anything wrong with him. He has narcissistic tendencies. This would
All Be my fault.
I would appreciate your prayers.

He has admitted that he has a short temper recently and gets easily stressed. So making progress! (Then proceeded to blame me ,of course, or that stress ).

Blessed day!

There is a verse in the bible that says confess your sins to one another and pray for each other that you may be healed.

Talk to your husband and pray WITH him.

I believe that prayer always works. It may not change the situation instantly but it changes something in the heart of a person.

We’ll be praying for you too and your husband.

Open your heart to God Love , let your love for your husband , and your love for God mix with Gods love for you. Then in prayer, pour that Love out onto your husband. He will not be able to resist it.

Continue doing this every night for a month . This Love will change him
