In the midst of national upheaval, the prophet Samuel assures the people that he will never stop praying for them. Samuel himself was a miraculous answer to his mother’s prayers (1 Samuel 1:1-20), He knew the power of a righteous person’s prayers.
As a young man, and well into middle age, one writer always knew that several older friends prayed for him daily. Years later, the Lord gave him the gift of loving to pray for others daily in specific, detailed ways.
Few things are more exciting than when God answers your prayers with specificity—even though only you and He know what you have been praying. That’s why you should pray more often and more boldly!
After all, the Lord’s providential work in your life, and His many answers to your specific prayers, increase your faith and trust in Him.
