We are most thankful to share the important prayer needs facing Mully Children's Family along with praises for God's continued blessings on our ministry. We kindly ask that you include these requests in your time of daily worship.

Everyday we gaze at the clear blue African skies hoping that soon we, like Elijah's servant, will see a cloud as small as the hand of a man. Then we shall shout with joy knowing that the rains are coming. Our land is thirsty! Our livestock are thirsty! Children, women, men and the elderly are dying of thirst in our land.

Several schools, local governments, police units and communities cry out to MCF for help with food and water. MCF has an influx of children and elderly coming to our branches in search of a meal. Many say MCF is the only place where they can be given a meal, after going hungry for several days. There are mounting pressure on our food and water reserves as MCF has more than 3,500 children to feed everyday in our facilities. Prices for maize, beans, rice and vegetables have doubled because of the food shortage.

The Thika River has dried up leaving only water ponds which are green with algae. We, like Elijah, are on our knees asking God for rain to purge our land of the drought we are experiencing.

How much rain do you want? I'll pray for that amount.
