My nephew is in hospice, dying from liver failure. He only has days, perhaps hours, to live. Any prayers for strength for the family as we go through this is greatly appreciated. This is a strong Christian family; but I can't even imagine what his parents are going through. His elderly grandma is having a hard time as well. My wife is having a hard time eating and sleeping. Thank you in advance for your prayers.

Your nephew is in my thoughts and prayers!❤️ So sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how tough this must be. You have my support!

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.
He telleth the number of the stars; He calleth them all by their names.
Great is our Lord, and of great power: His understanding is infinite.

Psalm 147:3-5

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because he trusteth in Thee.
Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:

Isaiah 26:3-4

May you know the abundance of the Lord's love joy and peace surrounding you and your dear family at this difficult time @JohnP

Hi John,

Praying for your nephew and family. Definitely overwhelming for a family to go through such trial and grief, but never too much for GOD to bring comfort.

Thank you JohnP for sharing this difficult yet so precious need with us.

Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.

Psalm 106:1 Praise ye the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for He is good: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Psalm 136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for His mercy endureth for ever.

Bless you ....><>

My nephew was called home to God today at 12:15am. When he first became ill, he accepted Jesus Christ as his savior. Yesterday the family was able to stand in a circle around his bed and pray over him. So far, his parents are taking it OK. The prayers for strength are being felt.

Hi John,

My condolence for your lost, but thank God he accepted Christ! Now, he's better off beyond our imagination.

Thanks for the update brother.

Yes indeed, he is better off than those of those alive. It is always those left behind who mourn the greatest.

Yes, my wife and I were talking about this driving home from visiting with her family this evening. As Christians, we know it should be a time to celebrate his place in heaven right now, but emotionally, we mourn so deeply because we will miss him so much. We're not mourning his loss, we are mourning our loss.

Blessings of Grace and Peace and Comfort to you and yours,
both now and ever in Jesus Name ....><>

May God make himself near to you and your wife, and all those who are being affected by your nephew's illness. Praying that your nephew will be comfortable and surrounded by love and comfort at this time, and that his family knows the Lord's love and mercy at this time, that God may bless you all with the comfort of knowing that your nephew is so loved and so precious, and that regardless of the length of his life, God loves him more than words. May your wife especially know God's presence at this time. My prayers are with you, God bless x
