Three weeks ago I suffered a massive heart attack. The doctors called it a "widow maker" - those that survive this particular type are extremely rare. I had to be resuscitated (shock and CPR) 7 times in the emergency room. My being alive is a miracle. Through it all, I prayed without ceasing, as did my wife who stood by my side the entire time. The doctors cleared the blockage in my artery (100%) inserted a stent, and 4 days later I walked out of the hospital. God is good!
I have a long road of recovery - emotionally and physically. Pain in the rib cage from the CPR, building my strength back up so I can start cardio physical therapy, dealing with the emotional trauma of a near death experience. I ask for prayers for a complete healing - physical and emotional. I also ask for prayers for my wife. She hasn't left my side since that day and has been my rock. God has blessed me with an amazing soul mate, and it has been physically and emotionally draining for her as much as for me. I pray for her health and continued strength.
