Prayer for my Church

Only a few people here at Talk Jesus knows about this,I wasn't going to post it, because I didn't want to discourage anyone but after talking with Chad he convienced me that I should. Please pray for my church.




On June 29 My Pastor was found unconcious at the Parsonage. That following Sunday July 3, The Deacons informed the church that Bro. Tommy had a mental/nervous breakdown and he tried to commit Suicide. The deacons also read his letter of resgination too.

Then that Wednesday July 6 The Deacons informed us that Bro. Tommy had been arrested for Statitory rape, child molestation and a few other charges. The police had a warrant to search the parsonage.

So now My Church is without a Pastor, and left hurting and very confused.

It's a shock to me, Honestly its still unbelieveable. I know its not my place to judge and I am trying so hard not too.

Our Church needs prayers bad,

Also, I found out Today that He has confessed to doing this things and it was in Wednesday's newspaper.

I will be praying for all involved...judge nothing before the time, (ie eternal damnation). In a case as this, the lord will likely put the Pastor under chastisement, and he will suffer loss. But he himself we be saved, but must go through the fire. So that he will not be condemed with the world. Paul called it being delivered over to satan, for the destruction of the flesh. Not Good...

1Co 4:5 Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Jennifer I am so sorry and am gutted that this broke out while I wasnt around.

I am not the type to quote chapter and verse when I know someone is struggling, just want to say that God is there for you and He cares with an everlasting love and an eternal peace that only He can give.

Receive from Him today as He cleanses you and shares your burdens and rise up like the eagle as your spirit soars to the Master's presence.

Sister Tia, I'm glad you posted this here. Look at how many are praying for your church and pastor. I feel sorry for your pastor, bad mistakes and huge loss. I pray GOD's grace and correction on him and the church aligned back on track according to GOD's will. GOD is and was always there for us. Just call on Him as you did now, great things by GOD's love and mercy replace anything against His will.
