prayer for parents

This is one sad day for me. I am really upset.
my parents live overseas. A few weeks ago I sent some witnessing material to them, because during a phone conversation, my mum said she thought she was going to hell and didn't really care where she was going after she died.
I believe God opened up this door as an opportunity for me to witness to her.
Today a few weeks later I just had a conversation with my father and he mentioned the last phone call I had with mom and the stuff I sent.
It totally floored me, because I didn't know that he believed in evolution and thinks there is no God, that Jesus is some guy, and that its ok to worship anything as long as its something. He doesn't believe the bible is true. i had no idea he thought this way. At one time I thought he at least believed God created the earth. He thinks we/people are insignifcant microorganisms on the planet.
He said he was glad that I found something to believe in, but he didn't want me to talk about Jesus or send anything again. The conversation ended cordially, there was no arguing or anything. I was totally loving towards him and just thanked him for his thoughts.
This is ok with me, I understand this isn't my job, this is God's job. my dad obviously doesn't want to know the truth.... but my mum.. I think she was listening to me that day, maybe a seed was planted. I still believe the Lord opened that door for me to witness to my mum and He wanted me to send that information.
I am just so sad though, it breaks my heart, how can anyone believe there isn't a God?
I will continue to pray for my parents and I ask you all to pray for them aswell please.

Well sister you planted some seeds...now pray for someone to water, and God in time can give the increase. Will put them on my prayer list. All you can do now is be a light to them (good works), they must see Christ in you with faith. This can be a great witness without words...as the apostle Paul says, we are an open bible, known and read of all men...

Thanks friends and definitley appreciate the prayers. My family live in another country so my prayer is God will send someone their way, that my mum and dad will see Jesus in someone else who can share with them and water those seeds which I am not able.
