Prayer for Work

Please keep me in prayer. I work seasonly at a Hersheys factory here in Canada. I am waiting for a callback to work, I am the next person to be called back but the last callback was first of April and nothing has happened since. Everything seemed fine this year for callbacks until Hershey decided to built a plant in Mexico and are getting rid of between 1500-3000 jobs in North America. So that has put a wrench into the callbacks

They've already closed a plant in Connecticut, some jobs losses in Pennsylvania and various other places, many at our plant feel it could happen to us next year. I'm still hoping to get back this year but I only have 5 weeks of Unemployment benefit left.

I'm looking for another job presently but there are few good paying jobs in my area. So I'm hoping to get back at Hershey this year and spend the year and subsequent layoff looking for a decent job.

So please say a prayer that I get back to Hershey this year or that I could get another decent job somewhere. On top of all this my left knee has been giving me lots of problems, arthritis but it feels much worse. That will hurt me if I have to find a new job. I just moved into a new apartment that I love and am very worried about paying the bills once my benefits run out, if I can't get back to work or find a new job,. So I guess it never rains but it pours.

Father You are our Jehovah Jireh our great provider and You provide for all our needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ Jesus. I pray that You will open the doors for my brother that You want him to go through and close the ones that You do not want him going through. I pray that he will know where You are sending him for the job that You have for him. Help him to keep his eyes on You and to seek You first. You tell us not to worry about anything but to pray about everything. I pray also for his healing of his knee, that You would restore it to normal as You oh Lord can do all things so I ask for healing in Jesus' name and for His glory amen.

I too, am praying that you find a job. I know how hard and scary not having a job/money/income is. To not be able and pay for medicine and food. I pray for you. God Bless

I am very happy to report that I am back to work Praise God. Thankyou each and everyone who has prayed for me. I really appreciate it!!!!!
Our Hershey plant is closing as well at the end of 2007. But the fact I am back to work is a big plus as I will get some severance pay and have about a year or so now to find another job.
So thanks again for your prayers!!!!!!
