Prayer Request for a Friend

Hello All

My friend who was very sceptical about Christianity has been attending the Alpha course with me.

She has had problems with her skin for a good few months, and has been referred to doctors for various creams and solutions. It might seem a frivalous problem, but really has led to her feeling very down, and reclusive, and it has affected her badly. It's been brought on by stress.

She went again this morning for an appointment, and has emailed me as her doctor said she should pray to God for healing! In her own words she could never have imagined a doctor saying that to anyone, let alone her, and before, she was likely to have stormed out in disgust, but now, she sees it as a solution, which is amazing!! And, she has emailed a few of us from the course to pray hard for her over the next few days.

Her name is Kathy, and if you could all mention her in your prayers, I really feel there will be a good result.

Gladstone! What a blessing! What an answer to prayer:star: This has touched me; I will pray for your friend.

My skin isn't the greatest, even at my age. I know how she feels. In my teens and twenties I had terrible acne. It affected my outlook on myself and how others saw me. Now that I'm older, I'm not bothered by acne much, but my skin is still very oily---however the skin oils make me look younger than I actually am, so that's turned out to be a blessing.

I'm glad that doctor told her to pray for healing! That is so awesome. While others are praying for her, God will be dealing with her for salvation. I rejoice with you, Gladstone, what an awesome move of God.
