Good Afternoon,
I was scrolling through my newsfeed on Facebook today and found that my local news posted about a family in my community.
A mother, Shelby Offrink, was diagnosed with a rare cancer called
inoperable intramedullary glioblastoma, a form of cancer in her spine and brain, in March 2014.
About six months after her diagnosis, her husband Ben learned he had Hodgkins lymphoma for the third time. He’d gone into remission 20 years earlier.
In the mean time, they had both been raising two daughters, Maeve, 4, and Hazel, 18 months.
Shelby had passed away Sunday. Please keep the Offrink family in your thoughts and prayers as they are going through an incredibly tough time.
