Prayers needed so my husband can attend more to church and have a closer encounter with God, thank you!

Glad to pray for you both! As Chad says, its the Holy Spirit that moves men's hearts. It can be done in a church for sure! But some churchs can quell the spirit, but regardless, I will pray for you both!
