Dear brothers and sisters, I am currently living a difficult situation and have been for many months now. I am forced to live apart from my husband (I am waiting for the i130 spousal visa). We got married last January and i have not seen him ever since. We Talk every day though. He is very sick with lupus and lost his job because of that. The insurance stopped paying disability because they think he can work. But he cannot walk neither use his hands properly. Anyway he has been trying to look for another job. It is not easy being sick and 53 years old. For this reason the visa could be denied, too.
If I read the reasons why prayers het unanswered, I have all the characteristics. But I am so tired and overwhelmed that I cannot do anything more. I am 50, I have raised my two kids alone. I am very tired and disappointed.
And I feel powerless.
My life looks like a mess at the moment, and it is. Stress, financial worries, health issues and loneliness.
The biggest obstacle to overcome is the question "Why". I do not understand what the Lord wants from me. What I did so horribly wrong.
I realized along the way the people who really cared and the ones who did not, friends, pastors and so on. I guess that after a while a person with burdens becomes unpleasant. I understand that.
Pray for this situation to end soon, please. I am at the end of my rope. Thank you in advance.

I see you are from Italy. Considering a visa situation, what country is your husband in, that you are trying to join him? Either way, glad to pray.

My husband is in the US. I have been waiting for the visa for many months already. Thank you so much for your prayers.

I am praying that God will deal with your situation and give you strength to do what you must do and endure what you must endure.

Matthew 20:30 And there were two blind men sitting by the roadside. When they heard that Jesus was passing by, they shouted, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us!” Matthew 20:31 The crowd chided them to be silent, but they shouted all the louder, “Lord,Son of David, have mercy on us!”

I feel that the real battle is in our mind.My own thoughts seem to be at war with the idea that God is real.
I have seen enough miracles to know that He is real but this war in my head shows me that I don't know without a doubt.
So I back up a bit and say," I believe God is real so I will start acting like he is real".

Asking other believers to pray is a sort of momentum in the realm of the belief in a good Father.
My prayers for you are also prayers for everyone in the body of Christ suffering from the very same battle.
So thank you for giving me an opportunity to add momentum to my battle and yours and everyone in the body by praying for this.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
