From time to time I`ve been ask to define a "Christian", and I`ve been able and have walked away with a feeling of acomplishment. Most of all my definition defined the Christian in his walk, being that words failed me and I had to resort to useing a example more than any given set of words, other than Jesus Christ. Until yesterday, when in my meditation a revelation came to me about Philippians 3:3, there it was, a simple but honest and true defining statement from God`s Holy Spirit, stateing for me the words to define a "True Christian". Let me share this beautiful revelation with you.
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Phil 3:3 (KJV)
A true christian is someone,[HIGH-LIGHT]WHICH WORSHIP GOD IN THE SPIRIT[/HIGH-LIGHT],they will and do[HIGH-LIGHT],REJOICE IN CHRIST JESUS[/HIGH-LIGHT], and do not have any
[HIGH-LIGHT]CONFIDENCE IN THE FLESH.[/HIGH-LIGHT]
Well I know that most of you already knew this but it really was ground breaking for me that God would give me a verse that clearly paints a clear and wonderful picture.
