Psalm 147:1-3, 7
"Praise the Lord.
How good it is to sing praises to our God
How pleasant and fitting to praise Him!
The Lord builds up Jerusalem;
He gathers the exiles of Israel.
He heals the broken hearted
and binds up their wounds...
Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving..." (NIV)
Heavenly Father, you teach me to rely on you in every way, and I thank you and praise you. You teach me that I am weak without you, and that you are my strength and my salvation. Dear God thank you for these most precious of gifts.
Thank you for blessing me with a fire to tell others of your Love and Grace, to speak out for your Kingdom, to boldly proclaim of the saving sacrifice of your precious Son Jesus Christ, in whose blood you have washed me clean.
May my voice sing your praises ever more, may my words be yours alone and my actions be directed by your will alone. My heart, my soul, my spirit and my mind belong to you and you alone.
I sing with thanksgiving to you, Mighty and wonderful God.
Extol the Lord, O Jerusalem!
