Purpose Driven God

We serve a purpose driven God where nothing happen by chance but He has everything detail and precise. For to long we hear the cliché “what a coincidence” or “I was lucky dread.” Our God is not a leprechaun who sits at the end of the rainbow who has this pot of gold. Neither is He a genie we pick up and rub for wishes. For far too long we haven’t reverence God for who He is. We treat God as this lucky charm and a prostitute who we pick up and do whatever we want when it is convenient for us. Maybe am the only one guilty of this but there are times when my back was against the wall I had promise God more things that I would do for Him but as soon as the smoke cleared I was back to where I was. The word says seek God while He may be found. That we must “remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them (Ecclesiastes 12:1).” If we seek Him diligently we will find Him.

We have been taken God for granted, but a righteous man steps are ordered by the Lord. See when you are connected into the vine and walking in the vine cause we cannot do anything of ourselves. The people we encounter on a daily basis is not by chance it is for us to share a word and sometimes we don’t get the chance but prayer for that person just because it was purpose and not by chance.

Once you realize that God has purpose in our day to day living, nothing is done without Him. Once you are still breathing there still purpose in your life and things you need to do for God. Cause it starts (Alpha) and end (Omega) with Christ. When we see things as purpose we analyze everything in the spiritual scope. Realizing that you are not just sitting on a side of a person in church because the seat is empty, not just seeing an old friend today, stop looking at the surface of things and dare to look deeper. When you come across anyone whether online, or in person just say a little prayer for them. God knows all and see all. It was purpose for you reading this message, purpose for you watching the news, reading a scripture or whatever activity you do daily. Ask God about your every encounter through out the day and He will show you what your purpose was in the situation.

We hear that “they were just in the wrong place and the wrong time,” but there is no wrong time to God. Timing is everything Ecclesiastes 3:1 says “To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.” There is definitely a time and place for everything under the sun as the word says there is nothing new under the sun. We all know that timing is essential and that’s when everything fall in place and is effective. When Jesus was at the wedding feast in Cana and they ran out of wine, Jesus mom told him there was no wine Jesus replied “Dear woman, why do you involve me?" Jesus replied, "My time has not yet come (John 2:4).” Jesus knew how important timing was and He knew His purpose on the earth, we need to learn from Him.

Thankyou for your post, it really challenges me, and makes you think that we really are here just to serve God and its all for his glory not ours. we can be so selfish somtimes and think we have our tickets stamped to heaven but there is a work to do for the kingdom.

i know for sure i need to die to self, and gain more of jesus!
