This is from a book I am currently reading by Randy Alcorn called "The Treasure Principle" it has blessed me so I thought I would share some questions it has in it, maybe it will bless someone else.
1. Lord in your word, you make direct connection between experiencing grace and expressing grace through giving. So does that degree of my giving suggest that I have recognized and embraced Your Grace?
2 Corinthians 8:7-9
But since you excel in everything--in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in the love we have kindled in you --see that you also excel in this grace of giving. I am not commanding you, but I want to test the sincerity of your love by comparing it with the earnestness of others. For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
2 Corinthians 9:15
Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!
Romans 8:32
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all--how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?
to be continue ----
