hey..
i hav so many questions.. to me things dont add up.. i know u guys r so into it but it confuses me soooo much.... i tend to think about things to much so i guess im always making up reasons for why it cant be right..but.. my heart wants to be a christian but my head wont let me i guess...
help? wld be grt!!

Hello, Confused37. Welcome to TalkJesus. When it comes to getting questions about God answered, I think two scriptures are important for you to think about:

#1 - "Without faith, it is impossible to please God. For whoever would find God must first believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him diligently." (Hebrews 11:6)

#2 - "'For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways', declares The Lord. 'As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.'"
(Isaiah 55:8-9)

Amen SLE, and welcome confused. If you really, really seek answers, you will find them in Jesus. The key is you have to be seeking. If not, then expect the answers given to fall short of your expectations. He said, "seek, and you shall find, knock, and doors will be opened to you".

One thing that I remember from before I was truly a follower of Jesus, was that the Bible was just another book to me. Until I excepted Jesus into my heart and prayed for the Holy Spirit to guide me in my reading of the word. It was only then, that the Bible had life for me.

In the Bible, New Testament, atleast one of the 4 Gospels, a centurian said to Jesus, "I believe, help thou my unbelief" & He did. mg: WOW!

Also in the Bible Jesus said something to the effect that He came to make foolish the wisdom of man & that all those who were born again, though wise spiritually, would be considered foolish in the world's eyes.
