Gal 6:7; Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.
Gal 6:8; For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
Gal 6:9; Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.
Gal 6:10; So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.
It's a plain and simple statement, you will reap what you sow. It is a fact of life. This is an absolute statement. Notice it doesn't say 'you "might" reap this, it says 'you "will" reap that'.
God is not mocked.
An old saying says "You are what you eat". That's really true, but the person you are today is because of all the decisions you've made in the past.
Are you poor, divorced, unemployed? This is because of decisions you have made. These things are temporary and can be changed if you change the way you make decisions.
You are what you see, what you hear, what you say, and even what you spend a lot of time doing.
There comes a point when you aren't Christian who sows to the flesh. You are simply a person who surrenders to the flesh all the time.
Make no mistake. God is not mocked. If you plant seeds to make the flesh grow, that's what you will reap.
If you plant pea seeds, you will get peas, if you plant cucumber seeds, you will get cucumbers.
You reap whatever seeds you plant. It always takes time, but eventually you will reap what you sow,
You always reap more than you sow, in some cases, a single seed can produce dozens of seeds.
One time I planted bird seeds, but I didn't grow any birds. But seriously, you are what you do, what you say, what you hear.
What are spending your time doing? What are you listening to? What are you saying? What are you reading and looking at?
These are the things that make you what you are, and what you will become.
If you sow to the flesh... you WILL reap the flesh.
If you sow to the Spirit... you will reap the Spirit.
