I'm a Christian and lately I've been browsing the Internet mainly youtube. I've come across a many of atheist challenging our God and yes I know it's the Internet but they basically spit in our face and call us fools for believing in such a thing. So my battle began with my first question to this suave atheist I quote "Another question for atheist you mean to tell me we came from the water grew lungs without a woman so basically born ourselves and eventually built roman cities swords, computers we use now. Xbox's, cars I can go on an on please answer this please!!!! I tell you NO we didnt and Adam and Eve are real you were made to rule this earth you are superior to anything on this planet you choose what you want to eat if you want a Lion or Elephant you are within your superior right to do so. God is real and God is good Jesus was raised from the dead (Hard to believe I know) but if you are blessed by the Holy spirit Jesus's resurrection becomes 2nd nature and the Bible seems to be the perfect book which doesn't sugar coat anything it's quite blunt and it's filled with documentation of army's number's childeren born and by whom just like if you went to the library and searched up Rome's Julius Caesar it happened around Christ life and we believe Ceasar existed more than Christ why is that? Is it because alot of humans want there cake and eat it too and dont want the fear of Hell in their lives? I think so all Im asking you brothers and sisters to do is Search for God talk to him read The Holy Bible and ask for the Holy spirit to come into your life be Baptised unless you receive the Holy Spirit into your life and give God all your heart you might forever wander in the dark and for any other person to say you're going to Hell is wrong we have no right to say that to one another only God can judge someone. Hopefully you find peace in your lives but I hope the peace you gain isn't by turning your back on Christ and never giving him a shot. God bless you all".
Im just gonna post that one statement I made because I've come to a realization that we should not debate with atheist. Why? you'll probably ask me and I think the more we debate them the more we scare them off because A atheist is just a skeptic as Paul was and to my knowledge Paul was a strong skeptic of the faith, even going so far as putting Christians to death and it was an appearance of the risen Jesus Christ that overpowered him. So while we debate with atheist we are kind of placing stumbling stones in my opinion which is something that Paul said we should not do. I'm gonna highlight a part from my question above in quotation "Jesus was raised from the dead (Hard to believe I know) but if you are blessed by the Holy spirit Jesus's resurrection becomes 2nd nature". Ok the main key and the main reason I posted this story is to say when we start telling people about the faith we have we lose them instantly, because the Holy Spirit is not in them they can't fathom what we are saying any longer because in their minds we just went to imaginary land and left them behind. So my point/question is should we even debate atheist? or Is it better to let Jesus confront them as he did to us and paul? May God be with you all and sorry for my failure at grammar :smiley: P.S. One more thing a atheist is a person that has heard and read about Our Father but chooses not to participate in none of that.
