[for me anyway] what things that are gain for me, those I count loss for Christ: the only things we are supposed to recover is recover ourselves out of the snare of the devil: as for flesh and blood matter's: flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; as for our enemy: if he hungers, let us give him meat; if he thirsts, let us give him drink; if he despitefully uses and persecutes us, then let us pray for him; if he curses us, then let us bless him; if he hates us, then let us do good to him. [for me] in Christ we are not called unto seeking to recover anything in this world, knowing that what is seen is temporal; but in Christ it is for what is not seen we ought to look for, for the things which are not seen are the eternal things.
