Today's verse describes God's 'Friends and Family Bonus Plan.' The primary thing God seeks to restore is relationship, and He ensures that friendships and family relationships are included.
God chose to use the word loyal to describe friends. He chose to describe "brothers" as individuals assigned to help in times of need. That means you have a lot to live up to. You aren't perfect, and there will be issues standing between your actions and God's requirements.
You're probably thinking of family and friends who fit this description, and those who don't. This verse describes God's ideal. It doesn't always describe people's actions. Well, that gives you something to work on.
