Meisie love, please drop what you're doing and read Romans 8:26-39. When God inspired Apostle Paul to write those verses, He had you in mind, they're for you.
Dear loving Father, can I please ask you a huge favour? My poor sweet, gorgeous sister Meisie is in such turmoil, it's messing with her mental health. She's looking at a bad situation through binoculars so that it looks bigger than it actually is. Please, please God, reveal a little bit of your wonderful self to her, give her a revelation of the love and passion you have for her and your total and absolute power and control over her situation, in much the same way as you did for Elisha's servant in 2 Kings 6:15-17.
Please Lord, give Meisie a double helping of your Holy Spirit; give her wisdom and purpose to be able to stand up to her ex and not be dominated by him but to take control of her situation. More importantly dear God, give her the faith of a packet of mustard seeds so that she can rest in the knowledge of your total control over everything so that she can relax, chill out and maybe catch up on some sleep whilst everyone else is flapping and panicking, and then at the right moment to stand up and tell the storms around her to shut up!! Just as your son Jesus did in Mark 4:35-41.
Dear God, forgive Maisie and forgive me for when we allow situations to overrun us and we allow ourselves to become victims, we forget to turn to you to come to our rescue. We forego your wisdom and guidance and only turn to you when everything's turned to mush, and then we have that lightbulb moment: 'my Father's servants have a better lifestyle than me.' I can so relate to that parable Lord.
You are a wonderful, amazing, caring and loving Lord God. Thank you, thank you, thank you for love, care, protection and wisdom. No wonder we've become so dependent upon you. Thank you Lord. Amen.
Meisie, please Keep us posted, letting us know how you're getting on. If you want to chat I'm just a PM away. Take care and God bless and have a lovely Easter. Xx
