Today, a verse popped out to me as to what He is doing in my life right now. Maybe it will minister to you as well.

Romans 12:2 "Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way that you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect."

I have read this verse many times, but today it seemed that God has a reason why it stood out more than normal. As i meditate on God's Word more and more, He is changing the way that i think, so that i can know His will and His ways (how He does things) better, and really get to know, and trust Him even more than i have been learning to over the past few years. He is using the truth of His Word to make me like ps 1:2-3, a tree planted along the riverbank, that bears fruit each season, my leaves will never wither, and i'll prosper in all that i do, and all this happens because i delight in the law of the Lord (or the Word of God), meditating in it day and night.

God Bless you! Keep meditating and seeking and knocking, and the door will be opened to you! (Matthew 7:7-8)

Sister, this just my thoughts on renewing the mind. I am not telling you to do this, but this is what I do, and believe.

The scripture tells us that "flesh lusts against the spirit, and the spirit lust against the flesh, they are contrary to one another so you can not do things you want"(Gal 5:17)
The things we want to do is have faith, and believe! When these things are happening within us we can not have faith to believe God for the promises of God.There will always be some doubt, and when there is doubt faith does not work.
Renewing the mind causes the our spiritual mind within out hearts and our natural mind to be in agreement, thus stopping this lusting against each other. If our hearts condemns us for believing something not true in our minds we will not have the confidence to ask for it in faith. The heart of man where Jesus Christ dwells can not be deceived, but our human minds can. Our heart will not believe a lie, but the mind can. Renewing our minds to what our heart teaches us using the Word of God causes peace between both parts of man so he can ask in faith knowing he will receive what he asks God for.

1Jn 3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
1Jn 3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
1Jn 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.
1Jn 3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

Sounds like we are pretty much on the same page. Thanks for sharing! May the Lord richly bless you!
